In the mild frost free climate of Co. Wexford in Southern
Ireland, our 7 acres of heritage gardens are beautifully
laid out around the Georgian Manor of Kilmokea. Topiary,
lawns, herbaceous and mixed plantings combine with architectural
features and ornaments to provide an enchanting series
of walled gardens that everyone is welcome to walk around
and enjoy.

so much beauty and so much peace
You can let your thoughts run free
And think of the past and dream of what's to
come
In the gardens of Kilmokea"

Stroll through the 'rose quarter garden' and 'kitchen
garden' towards the herbaceous borders, the dovecote

Enjoy the tranquillity surrounding the trout lake, board
walk and duck pond as you pass flowers and plants of
many varieties such as Camellias, Rhododendrons and
Candelabra Primulas. Discover the more unusual Metasequoia

"Blossom
and flowers are everywhere
Their fragrance fills the air
Old walls and pools mark their boundaries
And paths wander here and there ...."

Complete your walk with a trip around our craft shop
and enjoy something to eat or drink in our Pink Tea Cup Cafe.

"Peacocks
strut in your vision
And statues compete with clipped yew
And the feeling of peace is supreme here
In the gardens of Kilmokea"
